A Street Cat Named Bob: Book Review

If you read my blog regularly you know I’m way behind when it comes to book reviews (sorry!).  Last time I relied on Kip to pick the next book for me to review, but since he was as he was indisposed when I needed him (see photo below), I was left to my own devices.

Today I present to you my review for A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen.

I know it’s not very sophisticated but the essence of my review is “run, don’t walk to get this amazing book.” I can’t say enough about this wonderful book that I could hardly put down.

The gist of the book is about a street musician named James Bowen living hand to mouth playing guitar on the streets of London whose life crosses paths with an amazing ginger kitty by the name of Bob.

Bob was very ill at the time, and though James had hardly a penny to his name, he did everything within his power to nurse Bob to health. He wasn’t planning on keeping him but we all know how these things turn out. And not surprisingly, it’s Bob in the end who actually saves James.

It’s an uplifting and inspiring book. Get it now! A Street Cat Named Bob.
