Pretty (Petie) In Purple

I’ve been meaning to paint my bedroom wall now for at least a year. I finally settled on a shade of purple, threw caution to the wind and went for it. What do you guys think?

 Sorry I can’t show you the rest of the room but it’s literally a train wreck!

I must say,  purple really compliments Petie’s coloring though it’s hard to tell from the photo above. And I’m proud to say I was able to accomplish this without the help of the cat-inspired paint palates by Design Seed (though they would have come in handy had I known about them before hand!).

You can see how difficult Mr Petie Pants is to photograph. First he tried to hid behind the pillow.

Then he does everything possible to avoid direct eye contact.

Damn paparazzi, maybe they’ll get bored and leave me alone

Finally, after about the 20th photo I get a clearly unamused shot of him looking at my general direction. Ha!

Okay fine. You got your picture. Happy now?

I have to admit, this isn’t the first time I’ve inadvertently decorated a room to compliment Petie – I did the same thing with my  living room. I swear I didn’t mean too (oh damn, the other cats are going to get jealous!).

Do any of you have a cat who is particularly difficult to photograph and who always looks put-out when you finally do get a semi-decent photo? Or have you painted or decorated a room to match your cat? We wanna hear about it!
