I woke up way too early today for no reason. Well, technically Haddie thrust her head/whiskers into my face, but that’s not unusual. I’m normally able to pull the covers over my head and fall back asleep. Not this morning.
So what did I do with all this found time? Did I go to the gym or out for a run along the river as our friend Dorian of Your Daily Cute might? Did I diligently work on my overdue review of A Street Cat Named Bob? Allow myself the luxury of some creative writing? Perhaps organize the kitchen junk drawer? Negative on all counts.
I made over-sized Petie-head print outs. Yup. You heard me right.
Apparently this is what, at 7am, seemed like a good use of my time. I was particularly excited as I’d invested in decal paper last week with the thought of making Petie-head decals.
But the printer wasn’t cooperating and stopped printing Petie’s head right after his eyes. So I made the best of it (the complete head is on regular paper).
Petie was unimpressed.
Still only 9:14am. What to do next…..Haddie heads?!
Are there any unusual projects you’ve undertaken when you can’t sleep? Do tell, I need some inspiration!
