We are behind in our product reviews so we are combining two of our (okay the cats’) favorite things. Metrix for success are as follows (in order of importance):
- An acceptable color palate (neutral, black, white or some sort of animal print)
- Affordable
- Cats actually prefer to play with it over a cardboard box

Purrfect Play Catnip and Chase Toys: I had the pleasure of meeting Pam, the woman behind these wonderful cat and dog toys at the first ever “Blog Paws” convention (I know, I know I’m way behind!).
Her toys are handcrafted in the USA using only the finest organic natural fibers and catnip and are dye and toxin free. How can you top that? Well, they donate 5% of their annual sales to rescue organizations!
Haddie and the other cats had the chance to test drive the durable and yummy 6″ carrot containing over 1/2 cup of organic catnip ($8.95). Truth be told, she didn’t give anyone else the chance to check it out.
August, having giving up on the carrot went for the cotton Dust Bunnies made in the USA (six for $11.25).
Next up, the Play-n-Squeak Tiger Teaser Play Wand: This wand retails for just under $10 and I must say we were impressed with how durable it was. Both the squeaky mouse and the feathers stayed intact after many months of play (I’ve learned to let time pass before reviewing toys).
Who knew one toy could keep three cats entertained at one time (photos above) although once again, Miss Haddie laid claim to it (video below).
Do you and your kitties have any favorite and stylish toys to tell us about?
