V-DAY GIVEAWAY #9: Custom Keychain

These cute keychains by The Duo Studio are inspired by the saying, “Home is where the heart is.” Designer and manufacturer, couple Amanda and Gabe, saw the saying on everything from paintings to embroidery and thought it would be nice to have it on something you could take with you,”to remind you of where you come from or where you want to go.” I like that idea!

Of course I love the fact that their Etsy “about” page they show their 3 mascot. Two cats and a pup! Major bonus points! Not only do they have three fur kids, they also volunteer at the local shelter. Double bonus points!

We’re going to stop talking about keychains for a bit and talk about the animals for just a little bit. I’m sure you’ll forgive me!

Kratos

Kratos showed up on Amanda’s parents doorstep when she and Gabe were dating. According to Amanda, “He was the very definition of a tomcat, when we took him to get his first shots he bent the needle in half because he was so tough!” Wow! That IS tough!

Sampson

He was their only fur kid when she and Gabe married in 2010, but Sampson was soon to follow. He was found in a bush in an apartment complex by Amanda’s cousin who brought him to them. The two became fast friends. They’re best buds and cuddle all day (I love that!!!).

Gus Gus was intercepted from the pound. They knew he had been treated poorly so they took him in. Poor baby! Amanda explained, “He’s been through a lot so he’s very fearful, but we’re slowly introducing him to the cats little by little. For now we keep them separate because he’s still learning how to just be a dog.”
