The day I never imagined would arrive is here thanks to Hauspanther (formerly Moderncat). If your cats are like mine, they love vertical scratching areas like my chaise lounge (ouch!).
Against all odds, Hausepanther founder Kate Benjamin has found a way to design a vertical wall-mounted cardboard cat scratcher that pleases both cats and their style-conscious (and often space limited) fur-less companions. Mine is featured front and center in my living room!
As you can see in the photos below, the foster kitties Roxie and Sparkles (since adopted together) took to it right away. I love how Roxie patiently waits her turn!
The scratcher comes in two shapes (triangle & three petal flower) and two heights (12″ or 24″) with either red & white or black & white accents. Bonus extra, it’s super easy to install. Oh, and of course, like everything else they produce, everything is made and assembled in the U.S.A.!
And if your cat is particularly dexterous it doubles as a climbing wall!

We have the standalone version of this scratcher, and it’s like a piece of sculpture! I’m happy to see the wall version – we may just have to add this to our home as well.
Love the free standing one too! I should have mentioned those in the post! Def try out the wall mounted version – it’s so convenient!

Perfect! Most cat scratchers are not tall enough to actually provide what a cat wants and needs. These can be put high enough. Perfect! Thanks for sharing!
