I’d love to see them redesign a food container – I’m always trying to find good, stylish containers to hold my cat’s food!
Wow! These are pawesome! I would like to see ModKo redesign human toilets to match these litter boxes! That would be one funky and girly bathroom for the Crazy Cat Lady and her brood!

I would like to see them re-design the juicer. Most juicers have so many pieces and are difficult to clean, especially if you don’t have a dishwasher. If juicing were easier to accomplish with a sleeker and more convenient (not to mention stylish) juicer, more people would succumb to the benefits of juicing. Modko may be the company to start people on the road to this healthier lifestyle.
Furthermore, this contest is awesome. My Lumpkin’s favorite color is pink. She has pink everything. Well, not a litter box. It’s not easy finding pink litter boxes! So, a GREAT color choice for this contest!!
I would like to see a multiple (maybe 5 bowl) feeding station.

It would be really cool if they redesigned kitty eating bowls/trays. I love the mod look and I think they’d do a great job creating some kind of eating tray for cats -my kitty is a messy eater!!
I really want to see a gravity water feeder (maybe 1-2 gallons) that I can refill from the TOP instead of having to flip the whole thing over and always spill a little bit on the way back down. I believe a few exist, but they are soooo ugly. We need a nice-looking one.
Oh, cool, a great give-away! I’d love them to design a cat carrier that doubles as an enclosed bed, so that it can sit out and the cat become very comfortable in, and then just pop on the door (or some sort of zippered closure) when it’s time to take the kitty for an “outing” that they might not want to know about.

I’d love to see them redesign a cat den – when I foster kittens I don’t have a separate room I can close off for them so I use a multi level cat play pen – it rolls and is quite large but it is black and looks like a very large, tall rolling dog crate – blech. It would be great to have something that looks good and part of the house but could also be rolled outside if a cat wanted some outside time.

I would really like to see them redesign the classic kids’ toy box. I have cats and kid, and the toy box is one thing that just looks messy even if it is neat and tidy. It would be wonderful if a company as creative as Modko could redesign some thing as bvasic as a toybox and make it not only unique, but also user friendly.

I would love to see the cat tree or cat condo redesigned! We bought a really nice and expensive one but we have two very large 20+ pound cats and the tree is still unsturdy when they hop around it and play fight. It’s also pretty ugly and I’m not a fan off all the ones that are carpeted and look cheap.

I would like to see Modko redesign countertop dishwashers. It would be great to have a compact countertop dishwasher that is safe for fragile wine glasses, has a high design concept, and is quiet. I like my wine, so do many other cat owners, like Petie’s mama- it would be a good appliance for the savvy oenophile

Without sounding like a copy cat, (ya right), I’ll echo Jamie Green’s words down to the feng shui.
I would like to see a redesigned cat carrier; one that could sit out like a bed and let kitty become comfortable with that spot. When it comes time to use it as a carrier, kitty wouldn’t be so afraid of it. Hopefully. And of course, it would be as modern and stylish as ModKat and Flip (=^.^=)
There are very few metal scoopers and the ones I’ve tried have painful handles. Please design one that is one piece for strength but with a handle that is comfortable.

Well, I’d like to see you redo the carpeted cat tree. Snaz it up, PLEASE! It seems like they have the potential to be jazzed up and contemporary instead of so…dorky. (We have 4 in our home, so we are “dorky.” LOL.) I see cool prints, stenciled icons, etc. Have it it, why don’t you?!
what i’d like to see isn’t an item so much as an environment. a safe outdoor environment for kitties to hang out in. something big, but not so big that it’s can’t be easily relocated to whatever spot is convenient. something that provides not just a place for shade, food and water, but does so safely outdoors because sooo many cats sit in windows loving the outdoors but because of all the dangers can’t experience it. oh and it needs to be fun fun fun for them as well as have an eyepleasing design for us humans. not to mention economical as well! i dunno if that counts as one item or not, but i sure would love to see something like this for mine!! it would get used alll the time in the mild weather!!

I have two ModCat Litterboxes in my living room, the Design is awesome. I would like to see more nice Design-items for Kitties from them: Food-Storage-Box (of course the ones that seal in the flavour, otherwise the Kitties won’t like the nomnomnom anymore
) Some kind of nicely designed litter trash can that can be easily carried around the house…possibly with rolls, some nice water and food bowls and possibly a drinking fountain that can’t be used as a toy, etc etc…..

I would love to see them redesign a cat tower or water and food bowls!
I want attractive, functional matching food & water dispensers. In terms of functionality I have noticed that food bowls that are not “bowl curved” (have flat bottoms with a distinct ridge where the sides meet the bottom) lead to food being left in the bowl and they are harder to thoroughly clean. So the bowl shape would need to be one of the features in a food bowl that is used for canned food. Water needs to stay as clean (therefore fresh) as possible, so the design needs to protect the majority of the water from contamination.
I would like to see a redesign on cat fountains. I once had a roommate that had a decorative water fountain with a spinning ball on top. The kitties LOVED IT. I have searched high and low for a fountain with that feature (even looking at regular fountains in stores that had nothing to do with pets), and I can’t find one. But if it were specifically made for cats, it would have a filter and be easier to clean than a regular one. I’ve tried a few different cat fountains over the years, and they will drink out of them, but WOW I had some hydrated healthy kitties when we lived with that roommate. It may as well have been catnip water. They couldn’t get enough!

What a cool item! Rubydee, Sassy and Oscar (and I) would love to see a redesigned cool cat play station. My cats just don’t care about those carpeted jobs with attached feather or sproingy balls. But, they do like items that allow them to stick their paws into holes and slots and bat around something that makes a little noise.

I would love to see Modko bring a disposal liner for the ModKo top entry litter box. Though I love the washable plastic liners, there are times when a disposable would be a great alternative. Also, marking the reusable washable liner (for the top entry litter box) with fill lines (for one cat or two)- like they did for the disposable flip top litter box would be Great!
I love the having the choice of colors – it makes dealing with a yucky task a bit more cheery!
One more suggestion, for those of us who have to bath their furry friends – how about creating a bath mat (for inside the tub or sink) for gripping and allowing the kitty feel more secure while bathing?

We would love this gorgeous litterbox into our newly renovated “rose room” here a the rescue. I would love to see am well-built bookcase/litterbox/storage unit. I have seen one, but it wasn’t not well-made. I’d love one with a litterbox or litterbox cover/container in the bottom and then places for rattan storage cubes (for toys, litter tools, etc.) and then some shelves for books or KITTIES.

I would love to see cat furniture with added purpose. Like a cat tree with the bottom/base part set as a litter box ( has a top entry & then maybe pulls out like a draw for cleaning purposes) and then maybe a level or two above that a food/water station the bowls would not slip off of & messes easy to clean up (no carpet – maybe tile or some type of matt) & then perches up higher. I have 5 cats and I have 7 cat trees & the bottom levels rarely ever get used!! I also have 5 cat boxes & finding spots for them is difficult. I often end up dragging them all into my room if I have company over & that is just overwhelming! LOL My girls are all rescues and I have only had two since they were kittens so we sometimes have bullying issues over food. I have separate food bowls set out to help with this & I do put them on the various cat trees but sometimes they get spilled & make a mess.
I have seen hidden cat boxes with planters ,etc on top but never a cat tree. I am unsure why no one has come up with an idea like this before (at least not that I have seen!) because this idea makes so much sense to me. Especially if one has multiple felines or lived in a small space. A one stop shop! LOL Poop, eat, play & sleep all in one piece of furniture.
We love that red one!! We would like to see a really nice self feeder. The ones we find now are all icky cheap plastic.

Luckily we taught him to scratch his carpeted scratchers and not our furniture.

I would like to see pet steps redesigned in a way that doesn’t scream ”medical assistance device”. My senior cat Buddy is starting to need help to get up on my (high) bed. I’ve looked at the pet steps available and they are downright ugly. Not that he cares of course, but if there were options for better looking steps I’d be right on that.

My cats are always on the kitchen table and it makes my husband mad because we eat up there. I wish they’d design a table with a ledge below the table or even a hollow top of the table that is about 5-6 inches in height where the cats could go. It would be even neater if it had a glass top so we could see them thru the top of the table but it doesn’t have to have that. Think they could design that?

I would love to see the folks at ModKo redesign the toilet, transforming it into the “iPoop”, which can be used by both cats and their humans BUT it needs to be done in such a way so that the human toilet seat stays sterile. This would be incredibly helpful for pregnant women or people with compromised immune systems. For example, I live alone and am in treatment for breast cancer. During chemo, I was told not to scoop the litter boxes due to my weakened immune system. If I had a special toilet seat that kept one side sterile for me and the other side designed for my cats, that would have been a great solution!

I have a small rescue and keep some in crates. Design some neat crates and tiny cat boxes for kittens!!
I would love for Modko to redesign a bed with cats in mind! My boyfriend and I share a queen-sized bed but our kitty, Zuck takes up at least a 1/4 of it at night. Both of us have to sleep in contorted positions just to sleep around him and we both wake up stiff in the morning! I would LOVE it if there was a simple and aesthetic way to allow kitties to sleep with their owners so that everyone can get a good night sleep.
Another idea would be to redesign human exercise equipment, such as a treadmill, but for cats! My cat has endless amounts of energy even after we’ve played with him for hours! He never tires! I believe exercise is just imporant for cats as it is for people. Something simple that would encourage cats to exercise, perhaps with a treat reward so that they may associate exercise with benefits!
I’d love to see them redesign a floor-to-ceiling cat tree with a small footprint, yet enough perches for at least a couple of cats. I’d love one for my kitchen so that the cats could see onto the counter without having to get onto the counter.

I’d like to see them redesign peoples furniture to be more cat friendly, such as if the cat scratches a sofa, it either doesn’t make a mark, or it repairs itself, or if they scratch wood furniture the mark wouldn’t be deep & the mark could be washed away with a sponge, so anything your cat does to your furniture won’t ruin it.

Oh they do such awesome things! It’d be cool to have a filing cabinet or something in their style — something funky that doesn’t look like a filing cabinet.

I would love to see some outdoor modular cat trees. I have a large outdoor cat enclosure that is exposed to the weather and could use something modular and that could hold up to the elements.
Ohh me and the gang love these!. I would like to see a redesigned water fountain for cats that was ant and splatter proof.
I feed the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde and they’d like to know when the Ninja Furniture line is coming out. You know, coffee tables with built in cat condos & toys, side tables with hiding spots for them to reach out and touch someone etcetera. StarWalker BitCat the ComputerKitty is especially interested in the latter although he says if they can make a combo coat rack, umbrella holder, catwalk it would be aces because he doesn’t have anything high enough to do his vulture imitation.

Great giveaway! I work from home and consistently find my desk (with laptop) being overtaken by Frankie; my cat. He wants to be near me when I’m working, but my desk just isn’t conducive to him being comfortable and me getting work done. SO, with that in mind I wish they would redesign office furniture (Specifically my desk) to have a cubbies, cubes or some sort of a platform for Frank to lounge in while I work.
How about having them redesign the toaster oven.
Wish they could tackle the garbage can! I used to think my stainless steel “Simple Human” trash can was so cool and mod, but now I think it’s fugly and industrial and ordinary all at the same time in my wee funky traditional yet trying to be hip kitchen…

A cat resistant tub for all the pet supplies, food, brushes, etc….that seals well enough to keep dry food fresh, etc, but is also a functional perch (padded) for the cat, but doesn’t look like it belongs to the cat, if that makes sense…

I wish they would design a litterbox that is not top entry, but still keeps my Beagles from snacking on Kitty Roca. So funny when they smile at you with litter between their teeth. NOT!
I would love to see a cat tree that is cat friendly but could be cleaned and things replaced on it.

Someone needs to redesign the Toaster. Make it so crumbs DON’T go everywhere when you bump it or knock it off the counter by accident!!!

Please design the magic litter mat that actually catches litter! I’ve tried various options and none are all that successful in preventing the spread of litter. It’s in line with their products already and definitely could be a top seller.
By the way, the link to the Flip Litter Box isn’t working. I would love to learn more about that!
