Interview on Floppy Cats

Ever wondered how I HAVE CAT got it’s name? How someone with a cat-less childhood got her first cat? Or what type of litter Petie uses?

Thanks to Jenny Dean’s interview of me on, all of these questions and many more (well 8 of them) will be answered!

Jenny Dean is a cat-loving singleton (okay she has a boyfriend but she’s not married) in her early 30s living in Kansas City.  Her website is an homage to Ragdoll cats who are very relaxed and floppy when held. She currently has two floppy cats in her life.

But enough about her. Learn more about me and my cats!

great interview! i switched my cats to “health food” and while it is more expensive, you get the benefit of less smelly poop 🙂

  • i loved the interview

if you run short of ideas, i post a weekend theme on a friday. anyone can post using the theme, and by leaving a comment, you indicate to others that there is another take on the theme posted.

    • I HAVE CAT

Thanks so much! And thanks for the post ideas!

  • ps this weekend the theme is pride, something cats assume is their right

    • I HAVE CAT

      so true!

  • Oh Tamar, you are so right about the tipping point! I’ve had three cats around the studio for years. When people ask how many cats I have, I’ve resorted to a silent 3-finger answer out of fear that people will overhear and give me the “catlady stinkeye”. It still doesn’t keep me away from admiring all the cats at the Union Square Petco on weekends!

    • I HAVE CAT

The stinkeye! Hysterical! Thanks for visiting the blog Karen – you will have to let my kitties test drive those severed legs of yours! Tamar

  • Thanks for featuring Charlie and Trigg on I Have Cat – they are so honored!!

So importantly thank you for doing an interview – I totally love the name of your blog all the more now that I know where it came from!

Wonderful interview, GOREOUS pix, and I love lentil soup! My recipe is similar, but I’ll have to try adding that lemon juice. That sounds like the one missing ingredient my soup needs. 😉

    • I HAVE CAT

Hi Jmuhj! Thanks as always for the support and feedback! Glad you liked the interview 🙂
Lemme know what you think when you try the lemon in your soup!
