First Interview

Well I must say I was pretty surprised when a gentleman from India contacted me out of the blue asking to interview me for his website Speak Bindas.

Of course my first though was “is he single?” followed closely by “does he like cats?” While he may in fact be single, I’m not sure about his cat-loving status but it turns out he does have a thing for interviewing bloggers of all types.

So if you are curious to find out how and why I started blogging and learn a few of my blogging “tips” I encourage you check it out.  You’ll also learn a few tidbits about me outside the world of blogging (e.g. my favorite movies and where I’d like to travel if money were not an option!).

Sadly it was only after I sent in my interview answers that I found that that Devang Vibhaka, the man behind the blog, doesn’t enjoy movies but counts “Hanging out (on trees)”  and  “Taking deep breaths” as some if his preferred hobbies. Well I certainly need to work on the deep breathes but I’ve never been much of a tree-hanger-outer.

Hope I didn’t blow it…

Thank for reading and commenting JC!

  • What a great interview, T!!! I think you did a great job of expressing yourself with passion and eloquence. From the first time I found your blog, I’ve really loved the way you write.

And single or not… I’m not sure you’d want to commit yourself to a tree-hanger-outer. … Although Katie and I are big fans of Paddy and Dushi from the Cats In Trees blog. ; )

      Awwwwwwww thanks GG : )
That means a lot. Thanks for your never-ending support and encouragement.
Thanks as always for reading and posting a comment!
PS – I too am a fan of Paddy and Dushi (but not when Dushi runs away and scares us all!)

  • Tamar, I would like you to take a look at my below post which will clear your doubt about I found that that Devang Vibhaka(R), the man behind the blog, doesn’t enjoy movies

About your other queries, aah! I never had cats as full time pets but when I was a kid, few cats were often used to visit kitchen of my native home and enjoy whatever without any consent from us! I remember I used to play with her small puppies with the fear she will bite me!

And I’m not single, rather has a cute son who just completed his 1.5 years today!

And about movies, rather films, I’m hell passionate about that and now taking this passion further in directing the short films. Have directed few Indian culture documentaries already which you can view at:

Hi Devang!! Shame on me for my error! I wil have to correct it – thank you for visiting and posting.
Congrats on yoru son! How exciting! I only have cats for now!
Yes, cats do have a mind of their own don’t they? 🙂

      • It happens and happens with everyone 🙂 Glad to have read beautiful comments here.

  • Chris

New to your blog & looking forward to catching up a bit.

    You didn’t blow it. 😉

A Fellow (non) Crazy Cat Lady…

    • Ihavecat

Welcome Chris! Hope you check out some of my older posts! Excited to hear more from you! Thanks again for coming by and taking the time to post!

Well, Tamar, IMO you’ve already got the men in your life that you REALLY need. My guys (of the feline persuasion) are far better company, cleaner, quieter, and nicer to be around than their human counterparts, thus far anyway.

Too bad about the interviewer; but you can always chat with the Love Guru if you’re in the mood. You’ll find him presiding over the airwaves to a rapt audience in India.

    • Ihavecat

LOL you do tell some truths. I’d like to think there is place for both in ones life! Very funny about the Love Guru….

  • Going to check out your interview! You go girl!

    • Ihavecat

      Thank you! 🙂

  • Oh, but you should definitely try it out, hanging out in trees, it’s our favorite activity.

    • Ihavecat

hmmm I will take it under consideration. But don’t forget I have the disadvantage of only having 2 legs….and also, living in NYC: )

  • Great interview! Just went over and read and commented.

Also — you’re not a Crazy Cat Lady. (Just to make you feel better. Neither am I, right?) And this is why: Someone once told me that when you have THREE cats and are single, then you’re a crazy cat lady. Two is OK… so you’re in the clear! 🙂

    • Ihavecat

thanks 🙂 my independent studies have confirmed that THREE is the cat “tipping point” so to speak..but I have had foster Haddie here for some time….
